Currently in my 42nd year in the Mortgage Banking Industry. Presently serving as VP of the Mortgage Division of Firstrust Bank. Formerly served as VP/CFO/Shareholder of Boulevard Mortgage Company. I’ve been a parishioner for 31 years. I’m a Founding Member of the Board of Limited Jurisdiction of SKS. I’m a Board Member of Father Judge High School and formerly served as Board Member and Board Chair of St. Hubert High School. I’ve committed myself to these endeavors as I believe a Parish and School are critical to the success of our Community and the Students who will be the future of our Region. I’m a very proud Father of three strong, accomplished and caring Daughters, two exceptional Grand Daughters and three outstanding Son-in-Laws.

I worked for43 years in education serving as: a teacher, assistant principal, middle school principal, high school principal and high school superintendent for the School District of Philadelphia. Currently, I am retired. I have been a member of the parish for 20 years also serving as a member of the St. Vincent dePaul Society of St. Katherine's. I serve on the board because my daughter is a graduate of SKS and I attended Catholic schools from first grade through LaSalle College. I want to pay back the system that educated me.
JASON BUDD
I am in my 28th year of Catholic Education, where I have served as a teacher, a coach, an administrator, and Deputy Secretary. Currently I serve as a member of the Development Team at Father Judge HS. I have been a member of St. Katherine's my entire life, almost 50 years, graduating from SKS in 1987. I received every sacrament here, including Matrimony. This is my second tenure on the Board. I was blessed to have served on the original Board of Limited Jurisdiction. I also enjoyed being a CYO basketball coach and parent. Catholic schools have, for generations, proven to be the best investment a parent can make for their child, if they want a safe, but academically challenging environment. Catholic schools in the city of Philadelphia have consistently performed far beyond their competition. That said, our parents have performed a "double civic duty," in that they have paid their school and property taxes and yet sent their child to a tuition-based school. They have paid for public schools through their taxes and have not siphoned off any of those resources for themselves. Through my participation on this Board, I hope to continue to advocate for those parents who are the bedrock of our community, and deserve equitable consideration through tax law and the like.

I have held the role of Advancement Director in the Archdiocese for the past 6 years. Prior to that I worked for a publicly traded retail company for 14 years. I joined St. Katherine of Siena Parish 11 years ago. I currently am the Advancement Director at St. Katherines and have been since March of 2018. I serve of this board becaue a solid education changes the life of the child. The strong values that are upheld at St. Katherine of Siena, provide a safe learning environment for our students. We are proud to be known as the Premiere Education provider within the Archdiocese. I believe our strong school is part of what makes our parish and neighborhood so strong.
PAT ECKERT
I have spent 35 plus years volunteering and working in schools. The last 20 years I have been working in the financial side of schools in the Office of Management and Budget for the School District of Philadelphia. I am not a current parishioner at SKS but I know many parishioners who speak highly of the SKS Parish and the School. I have volunteered at many schools over the past 40-years and look forward to working with SKS.I believe I can share my experience working with schools to add to the SKS Parish and School’s already great accomplishments.
JIM FAGAN
I am a thirty-year veteran of the Philadelphia Police Department. I retired in January 2004. I have been in St. Katherine of Siena for 35 years. Both of my grown children are SKS graduates. I began volunteering when they were in grade school (Swim team timer, dance chaperone, etc.). Monsignor Kennedy asked me to join the BLJ due to my previous volunteer experience. I agreed to help because my grade school and parish (Our Lady of Ransom) is no longer in existence. I believe that SKS is a vital part of the Torresdale community and hope that it remains so for many years to come.
TOM GEISLER
I have spent 13 years in accounting with the Office of Catholic Education and am currently the Assistant Chief Financial Officer. I have been a member of St. Katherine of Siena for 29 years. I’m an alum from the class of 2000. Both of my children are current students at SKS. Catholic education is a base for building saints for this life and the next. St. Katherine of Siena is an exceptional school that started me on my journey through catholic school and ultimately into a career in catholic education.

Regina is the Principal of SKS School and has worked within the Philadelphia Diocese for 46 years. She currently serves as a non-voting member of the School Board of Limited Jurisdiction. I am thankful to this Board for the support and guidance. On behalf of the students of St. Katherine of Siena School, we are so lucky to have such a strong and effective Board of Limited Jurisdiction.
